Children Piano Lessons

Children have impressionable minds and at their first encounter with any kind of music, their young brains begin to capture the sounds which forms the language of music. Their ears pick up the sense of adventure, happy and sad sounds and they learn to feel emotions which are conveyed through the music. Most of the children are ready to start piano lessons between the ages of 6 to 8 years old. Around these ages the children are able to read words more fluently. Piano students who start at these ages usually use the book based method. There are some younger students who start piano lessons at age four or five using the ear-based method. Children who start young have supple hands and have more time to practice before their lives are filled with other activities or interests.
